In February, Roger Jewett, the former president of Rare Method Capital Corporation, purchased a 50% interest in Calgary-based Twist Marketing and assumed the role of chief executive officer. He replaces Catherine Proulx, founder and former chief executive officer, who becomes Twist's managing director. Jewett has a record for developing successful companies. Under his leadership, Rare Method grew from $1 million to $10 million in revenues in just five years and ranked second on Alberta Venture's Fast Growth 50 list for companies under $20 million in revenues in 2007. Twist, as it happens, is also a Fast Growth 50 alumnus from 2006. Since 2002, the firm's clients have included the Alberta Government, BJ Services Company Canada, FSC Architects and Engineers, Economic Developers Alberta, the City of Castlegar and the Town of Chestermere. Jewett also recently founded a human resources training and event promotion company called A Fresh Approach Inc.
