Calgary International Children's Festival selects Twist Marketing for second year in a row
Following the success of its 2009 event, the Calgary International Children's Festival is again partnering with Twist Marketing for its 2010 festival's campaign.

Calgary, Alberta (October 8 2009) – Following the success of its 2009 event, the Calgary International Children’s Festival is again partnering with Twist Marketing for its 2010 festival’s campaign. The 2010 Calgary International Children’s Festival (CICF), now the third largest children’s festival in North America, will bring professional performing artists to Calgary from across Canada and around the world from May 25-29.

“We are delighted to be working with Calgary International Children’s Festival again to promote its 2010 festival,” explains Catherine Proulx, Managing Director of Twist Marketing. “With all the talk of education cutbacks coming in the near future, all of us at Twist Marketing feel strongly about helping the Festival get its message out so it can engage as many kids as possible. Exposing youth to music, theatre, dance and puppetry is critical to developing the creativity and imagination they’ll need to be successful in the future, regardless of what career they pursue as an adult.”

Proulx added, “Building on the success of the Festival’s 2009 campaign, we are working with the incredibly dedicated staff at the Festival to develop a campaign for 2010 that will attract even more kids, parents and teachers to the critically acclaimed performances that the Festival brings to Calgary.”
